In May of 1971, Rich Perry moved to Atlantic and opened Geis Jewelry at 419 Chestnut Street for John Geis. Mr. Geis had a jewelry store in Creston, Iowa and hired Rich to manage the Atlantic store. On February 1, 1984 Rich and Nedra purchased the store and continued its operation as Geis Perry Jewelry.

Concern for “the customer of tomorrow rather than the sale of today” has been our philosophy from the beginning. We are proud of our professional staff of eight employees with well over 135 years of retail jewelry experience.

    

 The most beautiful gift-wrapping in  Atlantic has become our trademark. Other  services that we offer include engraving,  watch batteries and repair, jewelry repair,  and custom design. We also offer “FREE”  in town delivery, jewelry cleaning and  repair estimates.

            

In order to have the strongest buying power for our customers, we belong to the two largest jewelry-buying organizations in the nation, the Independent Jewelers Organization and the Retail Jewelers Organization. Through these groups, we are able to offer the most outstanding merchandise lines and designs available.

We are constantly attending conferences and seminars to keep up with the latest knowledge and style trends.

The past fourteen years, we have traveled to Antwerp Belgium, diamond capital of the world, to personally hand pick diamonds for our customers.
